About
Meet Deck Duck — what it is, why we built it, where we're headed, and who's behind it. Swipe through the cards to explore.

A language-learning workspace built around flashcards. Build a deck once — in Japanese, Spanish, French, Korean, or Chinese — and it becomes spaced-repetition practice, graded-reader stories, live battles, and a sharing community.

Why we built it
We created this app because we were language learners frustrated by the flashcard tools available today. We wanted something smarter, more engaging, and more enjoyable — something that could even win over our friend who already couldn’t stop using language-learning apps. Our goal is simple: make practicing a language something you look forward to every day.

Where we're headed
Our mission is to make daily language practice something you look forward to — for every learner, at every level. Study the material you actually care about, and let Deck Duck turn it into practice that sticks.
“A different language is a different vision of life.”

The team
Built by two Georgia Tech graduates — an aerospace engineer and a computer scientist — Deck Duck combines engineering, technology, and a passion for learning to reinvent the way people study languages.
